Mamma Mia DVD Overview
Mamma Mia! The Movie is the feel good DVD of the year! It should have you singing along to the timeless Abba classics no end. The Mamma Mia dvd is set on a remote Greek island, where Donna (Meryl Streep) runs an old hotel. Her daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is due to get married on the following day, however there is a problem. Sophie has no idea who her real father is. She desperately wants to find him so he can 'give her away'.
After discovering her mothers' old diary, Sophie narrows the possibilities down to three possible men (former James Bond Pierce Brosnan, former Mr. Darcy Colin Firth, and Swedish star Stellan Skarsgard), and decides to invite all three in an attempt to find the truth.
The Mamma Mia DVD follows the exciting adventure of Sophie as all three potential fathers arrive on the island the day before the wedding. The movie has comedy, romance, and of course plenty of music. Despite not all singing performances being great, the Mamma Mia DVD is a fun experience for all the family to enjoy. The weak singing almost adds character to movie.
The Mama Mia DVD is a romantic comedy aimed at the people who were around when all these songs were new, and that's an age group Hollywood largely ignores. For that alone, the Mamma Mia DVD deserves to find an audience.
